About Me

Mrs. Snohomish County 2012
Hello! My name is Jessica Riggs, and I am happily married to my high school sweetheart Mark. We have two amazing children Teague and Avery. I am probably the most glamorous massage therapist you will ever meet! I have a heart for the Lord and adore my church. I play softball, ride bikes, and absolutely love to travel. I thrive on new experiences and different cultures. I am heavily involved in my community and hope that I can inspire others to get out and do more in their lives. My family and I have experienced alot of injuries in the last several years, both physically and emotionally. I became complacent and lost track of who I was and where I wanted to be. I am so thankful to say that through fellowship with our Lord and my Christian community, I have been able to overcome. I am excited for a fresh start this year and I am looking forward to what's to come. He turns ALL things to good!

Why I compete in the Mrs. Washington Pageant.....

The Mrs. Washington Pageant is all about making a difference in your community. I love that instead of a talent, this is the foundation of our pageant and all of the contestants are accomplished married women whom are active in helping to better their communities.

I took a year off from competing, but did not take any time off from developing and implementing my platform, "Massage on a Mission".

My Health and Wellness platform has evolved and also become a missional opportunity for me to help and support several different charities and organizations by donating chair massage, massage gift certificates for auctions, and educating others about the power of touch in relation to their health.
I have been able to recruit fellow massage practitioners in my community who help me provide chair massage at these fundraising events. This has been so exciting because we are now able to make a bigger impact. I can only imagine what we could do at a national level!

In these tough economic times, I have found the number one issues facing non-profits and charitable organizations is that the amount of cash donations has significantly decreased. I feel my platform is not only viable in helping people feel better, but also a way to help ANY organization raise funds for their vitally important causes.
